Attention book lovers and political enthusiasts: join FOLMC for Twice Told Tale, a live rare book auction on Saturday, September 10, at 12 PM. The event will take place at our newly expanded Rockville Bookstore, located at 4886 Boiling Brook Parkway. The preview will be on Friday, September 9, from 12 PM–6 PM.
This year will be a presidential theme, with books signed by seven different Presidents of the United States. It will also feature first editions by some of the most acclaimed writers of the 20th Century, including Vladimir Nabokov, Edith Wharton, and Kurt Vonnegut. Also up for bid will be a book on the philosophy of Andy Warhol, complete with an original “soup can” drawing and signature on the half-title page.
