(L-R) Lennea Bower, Susan Moritz,
and Regina Holyfield-Jewett
Lennea Bower is the Program Specialist for MCPL's Virtual Services unit. In addition to working on the newsletter, she also works on social media, graphics, and MCPL's internal and external websites. Lennea joined MCPL in November 2014. She was previously at the American University Library and several animal shelters. Lennea's interests outside the library include baseball, hiking, and animal welfare (not necessarily in that order!).
Susan Moritz is a Program Manager with Virtual Services. She has been with MCPL for 10 years and has previously worked at the Wheaton and Rockville Memorial branches. She enjoys reading (of course!), movies, walking, cooking and baking, traveling, and going to the theater. Her Sudoku skills are improving. Susan has been enjoying the spring weather with her three adorable dogs (Ralphie, Bonnie, and Clyde). She is hoping George R. R. Martin will come out with his next Game of Thrones book soon!
Regina Holyfield-Jewett has been with MCPL for eight years as the Senior Executive Administrative Aide in the Office of the Director. A duty of all MCPL staff is to market Library services. One way in which Regina does this is by ensuring MCPL’s e-newsletter, Check Us Out, is ready to be published each month. She works with Virtual Services to produce the newsletter, including researching, writing, and editing. She focuses on highlighting services, programs, materials, events, initiatives, and staff. In her leisure time, Regina enjoys spending time with family (especially her grandchildren), reading, and watching vintage movies.
