Registration is open for the 7th Annual Seasoned Spellers Senior Spelling Bee sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County (FOLMC). Adults age 55 and older are invited to participate in this exciting and unique event celebrating the spelling talents of older adults and connecting them to library resources. The Bee will be held October 1, 2016 at 11 AM at the Damascus branch.
Participants must register by September 23 and pay a $25 non-refundable registration fee. There is a Grand Prize for first place, and all participants receive a goodie bag. Call (240)777-0020 or visit www.FOLMC.org to register and for more information.
The Bee is free and open to the public to watch. Join us to cheer on the spellers in this fun-filled, nail-biting event. The Bee is held in partnership with Montgomery County Public Libraries.
