Every year, MCPL staff submit their favorite books they have read that year. It's a fun tradition for us to share with each other and with our customers. We don't require that staff submit newly-published books, although many do, while others submit old favorites or rediscovered classics.
As you can probably imagine, we read widely. Our favorite books include fiction and nonfiction selections ranging from uproarious to serious to bleak. We read books aimed at every age group, from all over the world. We also read audiobooks, print, and e-books.
