FOLMC is seeking a second student representative to serve on the board of trustees.  A rising junior in a Montgomery County public or private school can apply for this unique position to give input and promote library resources to young people. The student will gain awareness and knowledge of board leadership, promote a positive image of youth, and develop new real-life skills.

The application process includes essays, recommendations, and an in-person interview. Applications will be accepted online and the deadline for all applications and letters of recommendation is March 31. The position is a two-year commitment and requires attending four board meetings each year. Questions about FOLMC or the application process? Email studentrepresentative@folmc.org or call (240) 777-0020.
