Library Lovers Month
FOLMC will host a family-friendly Library Lovers Month Kickoff at the newly refreshed Aspen Hill branch on Saturday, February 3, at 11 AM. The event will feature an interactive STEM show and a hands-on booth “Bubbling Potions and Explosions” by the Science Guys of Baltimore.
MCPL provides a variety of STEM resources and offerings year round that help foster a love of science and exploration. Branches and FOL chapters will host special events and activities to celebrate all month long.
Tell us why you’re madly in love with your library. Fill out a postcard while at your branch or share a photo on FOLMC’s Facebook or Instagram pages (be sure to tag #ILoveMyLibrary and #MadLoveForLibraries).
Visit www.folmc.org for more information about the kickoff event and other Library Lovers Month activities. Library Lovers Month is sponsored in partnership with the Montgomery County Library Board and Friends of the Library, Aspen Hill Chapter.
Dine-In Day at the Original Pancake House
Celebrate Library Lovers Month with stacks for the stacks. The Original Pancake House (OPH) will host their annual Dine-In Day fundraiser on February 22 from 7 AM - 3 PM at their Bethesda and Rockville locations. OPH will generously donate 15% of sales to FOLMC.
